You still have the limitations of a solid axle but they do make a big improvement and significantly reduce the "what the **** have I bought" moments. ![]() Had to pay imports taxes buying direct was still cheaper than buying in the UK. The REVO-A coil shock system is Legend's take on isolating a bike from road shocks using a conventional coil spring and shock absorber, with an upgrad. I went with Legend Revo A's simply because they had them in stock and would ship next day. I don't think either Legend or DK use the same shocks on trikes and 2 wheelers. I would be very surprised if Nitron say it's OK to use their shocks on a trike. ![]() The same argument applies to rough roads when one shock could be fully compressed and the other could be fully extended (or you're being very silly off the ground) in which case most if not all off the weight is on a single shock. 4 stars is all I can give. The problem for me is that twin shocks on a 2 wheeler act in unison so all stresses and strains are evenly split between the 2 shocks and on a trike that isn't the case.Īn easy example is in a LH turn and there will be more weight on the LH shock than the RH shock therefore shocks for a trike need to be able to handle a much higher load than the 2 wheeler shocks. My expectations were high and these minor issues should not have been experienced. As a matter of fact, at this cost, these things should jump out of the box and install themselves. This they do with a long spring with its characteristic low spring rate. Legend points out how the shock is set up soft and plush to offer the smoothest ride. The cap head bolts would be a problem for anyone mounting in the tour pack scenario. I wonder how well these shocks will do in the Indian Scout cantilevered geometry. For the cost I should have not had a single issue. Available in 13 and 14, standard or heavy-duty applications. Legend’s touring specific coil spring rates provide superior ride comfort, improved performance, and increased resistance to bottoming for all day comfort. REVO coils provide improved plush ride quality, control, and resistance to bottoming-out. Available in Black, Gold and Clear Type III hard coat anodize. Legends touring specific spring rates produce superior ride quality and performance. Available in Black, Clear Anodized or Gold. offer a mounting option and only give that kit in the purchase to push costs down. LEGEND Suspension Revo-a w REBOUND Coil Shocks 1310-0959 BLACK 13' Touring 2000-2022. I get it takes money to make these things, but no one needs three hardware kits to mount these. Looks better, works perfectly, and bag lids are now unobstructed. Conclusion - I love the ride, but it is too costly especially with the extra mounting option. I couldn't find them at my local stores in that exact length, but found them online for $1 each. Their shocks are made to provide superior performance and durability, and they come with a wide range of features that can be beneficial for riders of all levels. Got me a good scratch on the edge of my lids trying to close them.Solution - source separately 5/16-18 1x3/4 Stainless steel button head socket cap bolts. They are top-quality products that can provide riders with a great riding experience. The cap head style bolts provided with both mounting options protrude too far making it almost impossible to close your bag lids. I ended up taking the bolts from the lower mount kit included with the shocks to get them mounted. First off the bolts provided in the extra kit to mount the reservoirs at the top of the fender were too short. This should be a mounting option and included in the cost of the shocks.2 - Hardware provided was junk. The additional cost for mounting the remote reservoir up high was just ridiculous. The air ride was giving me fits and wasn't good for two up, so it was time to go.The remote reservoir mounted up high just looks cool.Dislikes -1 - Cost. I had an air ride on the rear for the last 5 years with Legend Axeo up front. Have only 100 miles, but 5 star quality so far. Likes - The REVO ARC with RR suspension is an amazing upgrade on my 2016 Street Glide. ![]() Thank you to Legend Suspensions for producing great products. Thank you to Al Santiago at High Strength V Twin in Harrisburg, Pa. The old adage is "you get what you pay for." With Legend suspension products I got way more than I paid for. I simply turn my head and the bike leans and goes where I look. Cornering in general has exponentially improved. The front drop ins have eliminated the friction point usually associated with low-speed cornering. The improvement in handling, cornering, and ride are amazing. My wife thought I also put a new softer seat on the bike. ![]() The ride improvement provided by the RevoA rear shocks is awesome. The mechanic who suggested then told me "A Legend suspension will change your world." He was right. I recently had a full suspension upgrade using Legend AXEO front and RevoA rear suspension components.
